Kelsey Lanceta, Louisville, KY native, grew up in the musical theatre and ballet community. In 2015 she earned a BFA in Dance from the California Institute of the Arts. While in Los Angeles she danced in concert works, films and immersive theatre with Julie Bour, Sidra Bell, Natalie Metzinger, Anna Petrisko and more at El Segundo Museum of Art, The Roy and Edna Disney CalArts Theatre, and Human Resources LA. Since moving to New York she has had the pleasure of performing solo choreographic works at Triskelion Arts Center and WaxWorks, with Gaul+Moves in the Queensboro Dance Festival, with Megan Bascom + Dancers, and for Caitlin Adams at Gibney Dance PoP Spring series. As well as for musical artists Moaning in LA, Abbi Press in NY and many more. Kelsey is proud to share the stage with the talented, imaginative and fabulous creative team at the House of Yes, with whom she is thrilled to debut new hyper drag and performance theatre inspired by her queer perspective. She loves to move and shake and is constantly inspired by weirdness, queerness, self expression and performance that explores the boundaries of art and gender.
